So What's Our Deal?

We are two comedic actresses (and best friends!) based in Los Angeles. For the past few years, we toyed with the idea of creating our own content but never thought we had "the winner". One day we realized, "You know what? We're hilarious, ridiculous, and gosh darn it, people like us!" So we based our series on characterized versions of ourselves at our most terrible, figuring that to be the comedic goldmine we had been trying to find. It turns out, we were right!

We dove into shooting our first season head-first financing the project ourselves. (Which put us at a per-episode budget that would about cover a nice meal out). We shot 6 episodes between Halloween and Christmas, paying our crew and talent with coffee, bagels and hugs.  Along the way we learned the ins and outs of what it takes to produce a web series and also gained an awesome and supportive fan base. 

Doing this project has been incredibly rewarding in so many ways.  For us, we were able to take steps to empower ourselves to create content and get our voices heard breaking the cycle of waiting around for someone to give us the chance to do what we love.  For others, we were able to provide opportunities to talented people at the beginning stages of their career including providing Taft-Hartley's to 9 actors as well as providing IMDB credits for both cast and crew.

While shooting Season 1 was fulfilling and an incredible learning experience, we would love the chance to give the material and the talent the production value and reimbursement they deserve in Season 2. With just a little money, we're sure we can produce a show worthy of the time, hard work and creativity that goes into making it. We count ourselves lucky to be storytellers and entertainers, and to work with such inspired collaborators on this project. Who knows, we may even be brave enough to pitch our final project to some Hollywood Execs!!!

What We Need & What You Get

We've budgeted out $5,000 based on our projected 6 Episode, Season 2 production schedule. Here's what you'll be helping us pay for:

• Paying Our Crew: Writer, Director, Sound, Lighting, Editor, Actors, Composer
• Equipment Rental/Purchase: Primarily camera, lighting, and audio
• Access to better locations and transportation/gas 
• Craft Services
• Props, set decorations, wardrobe, makeup
• Providing opportunities for up-and-coming talent
